A short term electric guitar program focused on developing the necessary skills on the electric guitar for students to pursue Rock & Metal and related genres.

Prerequisite: Guitar Program 1 (Fast Track Comprehensive Guitar Program) completion. This Program is designed exclusively only for BGA students who have completed the "Fast Track Comprehensive Guitar Program".

Right Hand Picking Techniques

• Learn the three important picking techniques; Alternate, Economy and Sweep picking techniques to develop good right hand technique, and learn various scenarios where each of these picking techniques are used to effectively execute musical pieces.

• Learn arpeggio sequences, exercises and runs to develop the picking techniques and to develop good right & left hand coordination to play fast phrases.

Lead Techniques, Songs, Riffs & Solos

Learn various lead techniques, songs, riffs and solos from the Rock & Metal genre to develop good technique on the electric guitar.

• Learn to use distortion effects and the Left & Right hand techniques for a tight tone.

• Learn variations of string bending techniques like bent note vibrato, Pre-Bends, Bend release etc.

• Learn to use Palm mute technique effectively in chords & riffs.

• Learn legato technique and sequences.

• Learn raking technique, pinch harmonics and other techniques for feel & tone.

• Learn various licks and phrases to develop lead playing skills.

• Learn speed building exercises & fast scale runs to develop speed & accuracy in solos.
